Volunteering with LIBERTY DRIVES

Our very special team of volunteers who want to make a difference allow this entire program to be possible.

Most of our volunteers are drivers and as such must hold a valid driving licence. All new drivers undergo a training period alongside an experienced volunteer driver focused on the operation of the vehicles, LIBERTY DRIVES policies and knowledge of the parks. After satisfactory completion of the training period new drivers may begin taking driving shifts and assignments on their own. Typically, trained drivers work one 3-4 hour daytime shift per week during the regular season although schedules can be flexible.

  • telephone and email reception at the dispatch office
  • website content and social networking maintenance
  • special projects aimed at increasing awareness of LIBERTY DRIVES among target groups and individuals.
